<Hi

Just a quick newsletter to wish you the very best during the festive season.

London is buzzing throughout the next week, with dance parties aplenty.

My challenge to you is to have fun and fill your holday companions lives with the joy you find from dance.

The briefest of brief run downs for the coming week with the advice to check www.londonsalsa.co.uk, follow our twitter feed, use www.A2Z.Events or download the Global Dance Card App, if you are out of town and need a dance hit.

DJ Hughie is the guest DJ at All Stars Salsa Friday in North London. where there are lessons in salsa, kizomba, bachata and semba before the late night party in 2 rooms.

Friday night also brings a special El Grande in Kings Cross, celebrating Xmas with over 1000 dancers in rooms for salsa, bachata and kizomba, partying till 5am.

This Friday and actually next Friday (middle of the Xmas week-- perfect), the party goes on in Putney, where bachata and salsa classes are followed by a social.

The Persuaders featuring Robin Bibi, Alan Warner (founding member of The Foundations), Andrew Heart and Ivan Hoe and guests including John Dominic of The Bo Street Runners and others are live on Friday in Chiswick.

21.12.19 Salsathon in Central LondonThe Salsathon in Central London this Saturday is raising funds for Kindness is Timeless.

If you like SALSA and BACHATA, you will love FIFTY FIFTY the new monthly Saturday party near Great Portland St.

Live band night in Chelmsford

Salsa D'Lite host their Christmas party in Chelmsford on Saturday, featuring a live band, rueda class and party.

Sunday's options include SOS in Camden or Salsa Secret's party in Enfield, featuring Adriana Santana live with Kinashow.

Tumbao's Christmas Salsa & Bachata party special is on Monday in Fest, Camden, where Mr Sam Sleek I know is hoping for the odd Lindt chocolate festive treat to come his way!

Obviously we hope you'll find a partner or two to dance with during the festive break.

I'll probably be bored by Boxing Day evening, so may well be looking forward to my next dance hit, so will try and pass on the enthusiam to you via a newsletter.  Just be aware that most the venues and classes aren't on, and you should contact the hosts to check.

However, Putney is definietly on Friday 27th with salsa and bachata lessons and I espy that DJ Hughie is hosting a free salsa night in Stratford on Saturday 28th.

I also hear that Bar Salsa Temple are opening on Monday 30th, with Latin Collective promising 2 rooms of dance - the word is that "it is our normal Tuesday format but just on a Monday".  So that is salsa, bachata, kizomba and lot's of dancing to burn off the Christmas excesses.

Salsa D'Lite New Years Party

For those on extended breaks, it is also appropriate to wish you a happy New Year.

If you are partying at the big Birmingham salsa event, in Central London with Salsateca, have fun.

Certainly Paul and Alexandra in Chelmsford would welcome you to their salsa and 60s celebration.

If you love live music then Havana to Londres host a New Years Eve treat for you with Two Fabulous Bands and three top specialist DJs to keep you dancing till 5am in Tufnell Park.

For those of you who do the family thing at new year, are on holiday in London or are keen to start the New Year in the way you mean to go on, then I'd urge to enjoy the Metrolatina New Years Day Special in Soho.

Those who aren't already part of the salsa and social dance scene in London are probably going to get over the festivities but salsa in London just goes from one crescendo to the next and the hosts on www.LondonSalsa.co.uk are already adding new workshops, courses, drop in lessons, parties and band nights for January 2020.

Please note that we are most supportive of people who are looking for beginners activities - just tell friends to look for the green chillies next to lesson nights.

Here is one for January 2020 that hopefully will inspire you to thoroughly enjoy your salsa journey.
